Prospect Villa and Garden

In Hamilton Plains Road, above the Clyde River, Prospect Villa allows you to walk in the romantic colour-blended gardens, abundantly planted in classic designs and to admire the elegant early-colonial architecture of the villa with its mellow stone walls.

Prospect Villa demonstrates what can be created in a garden in a dry part of Australia. There are panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, rolling hills and sometimes snow-capped mountains.

The live-in owners provide guided tours of the heritage-listed villa and gardens. Open daily 1000 to 1600 September to April (other times by arrangement). Admission: AU$5 per person.
