Bothwell Swimming Pool

Pool Lifeguard Manager

The Central Highlands Council is seeking applications from suitability qualified persons to fill the following positions:

• Pool Lifeguard/Manager
• Backup Lifeguard

Bothwell Swimming Pool is a 25m, heated, Public swimming pool. The pool is open 7 days a week from mid December 2017 to April 2018.

The Lifeguard position involves supervision of patrons in and around the swimming pool, customer service, cash handling, running of kiosk, cleaning of amenities, administering first aid and rescue response as required. The Lifeguard must have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and will be required to conduct basic water testing.

A lifeguard must hold current Lifeguard and Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificates. Council is able to assist in providing training to interested person/s who do not hold these qualifications.
