 ### Structure Plans for Bothwell, Hamilton and Ouse

Planning for the future of our towns is important to ensuring they remain great places to live, work, visit and invest. Following extensive community consultation, Central Highlands Council has completed Structure Plans for Bothwell, Hamilton and Ouse, with the final plans endorsed by Council in July 2025.

The Structure Plans provide a long-term vision for each town and identify opportunities, priorities and practical actions to guide future growth and development. They consider matters such as housing, recreation, community facilities, transport, tourism, economic development, public spaces and town character.

Developed with significant input from local residents, businesses and community groups, these plans help Council understand what matters most to each community and provide a framework for future decision-making and investment.
